Sono nato in Bielorussia, a Minsk, nel 1993, ma solo nel 2009 inizio ad affacciarmi, per prima cosa, al mondo del fotoritocco, stimolato dalla visione di un film americano in cui veniva usato, per gioco, il programma Photoshop.

Dopo quel giorno, munito del mio primo computer e dopo essermi anche io procurato Photoshop, ho incominciato, solo a scopo ludico, a ritoccare le mie prime foto di amici e conoscenti e, in ambito universitario, a creare locandine e vari tipi di montaggi.

Arrivato in Italia, nel 2013, dopo aver visto casualmente su youtube un video backstage del noto fotografo belga David Olkarny, ho capito che la fotografia poteva essere il mio mezzo ideale di espressione, e che attraverso questa potevo diminuire le distanze tra me e il mondo che mi circondava, tra me e gli altri; è infatti nel Febbraio del 2013 che mi regalano la mia prima macchina fotografica, una Canon 60D, che tutt’ora utilizzo.

Le mie prime esperienze sono quelle come fotografo alle feste, nei locali e in altre occasioni di ritrovo, ma dopo aver sentito vari complimenti, ho capito che dovevo approfondire le mie abilità e per questo ho incominciato a fare i miei primi book fotografici. Ogni scatto mi dava motivazione per approfondire non solo le tecniche di fotografia, ma anche quelle di post-produzione fino a che non ho raggiunto un livello tale che mi ha permesso di poter essere notato da altri fotografi con più esperienza di me in campo fotografico, ma minor abilità in campo di elaborazione, con i quali tutt’ora collaboro occasionalmente. La mia ispirazione costante sono senz’altro i fotografi commerciali americani, ma, in primis, i migliori fotografi russi della nuova generazione, che, come me, si concentrano sulla fotografia a colori, focalizzandosi su un’immagine che abbia sì colori moderni, ma con basi antiche, come quelle dei celebri pittori della storia dell’arte.
